With the launch of OnePlus 5Tapproaching, everyday new information of the upcoming handset is surfacing, especially about the major specs of the handset. And now, a fresh report from techdipper sheds some light on the pricing of the smartphone.
According to the report, the OnePlus 5T would be priced the same price as OnePlus 5. The 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variant of the OnePlus 5T will be priced at Rs 32,999 whereas, the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant will come with a price tag of Rs 37,999 in India.
Just to refresh the memories of our readers, OnePlus 3T and OnePlus 3 had a price difference of Rs 2,000 for the base model of 64GB, at the time of the launch of the former.
Since we cannot confirm the information about the price of the upcoming handset, we suggest that our readers take it with a pinch of salt.
Recently, images of the smartphone appeared online along with the review guide with all the specs.
The images re-confirmed that OnePlus 5T will be featuring a larger 18:9 aspect ratio display like it has been rumored since months. The images showing the spec sheet was also revealed. According to the list, OnePlus 5T will sport a 6.01-inch full HD+ (1080×2160 pixels) Optic Amoled display with a pixel density of 401ppi and 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It may run Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box and get Android 8.0 Oreo later.
Powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, the smartphone will come in 6GB and 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and Adreno 540 GPU. The 6GB RAM variant could come with 64GB inbuilt storage, while the 8GB RAM variant could feature 128GB storage.
According to the images showing the review guide, the OnePlus 5T will sport a 16MP Sony IMX398 sensor along with f/1.7 aperture. The secondary rear camera will come with a 20MP Sony IMX376K camera sensor with f/1.7 aperture and dual LED flash. AT the front, there is a 16MP Sony IMX 371 sensor with f/2.0 aperture. It is having a 3300mAh battery, according to the review guide.
OnePlus 5T is scheduled to launch in November 16 in India and to go on ‘Early Access’ sale in the country from November 21. This will be for Amazon Primemembers. The general sales start from November 28.
