The smartphone’s base model (32GB) is now available at Rs 67,300 as opposed to Rs 72,000 previously. The smartphone’s 128GB model can now be purchased at Rs 76,200 while the price of the 256GB model has been reduced to Rs 85,400 (MRP).
Apple iPhone 7 (up to Rs 5,600)
Apple iPhone 7 too has received price cuts across its variants. The smartphone’s 32GB variant, which previously was available at Rs 60,000 now sports an MRP of Rs 56,200. The 128GB, priced at Rs 70,000, is now selling at Rs 65,200 and the 256GB option at Rs 74,400 (it was previously priced at Rs 80,000).

Apple’s 4-inch iPhone, iPhone SE, too has received a price cut. The 32GB model of iPhone SE will now cost Rs 26,000 (after a discount of Rs 1200) while the smartphone’s 128GB model is priced at Rs 35,000 (post Rs 2200 discount). Apple iPhone SE launched in India in April 2016 at Rs 39,990 (16GB). The company calls iPhone SE the “most powerful 4-inch smartphone”.
Asus ZenFone 3 (Rs 3,000)
Asus ZenFone 3 has received a price cut of Rs 3,000. The smartphone will now be available at Rs 16,999, post the price cut. The smartphone launched in India in August last year at Rs 27,999. Asus ZenFone 3 (ZE552KL) sports a 5.5-inch display with 4GB RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage.
Asus ZenFone 3 Max (Rs 1,000)
Asus ZenFone 3 Max has received a price cut of Rs 1,000. The smartphone will now be available at Rs 14,999. Asus ZenFone 3 Max packs a 5.5-inch full-HD display and runs on octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 with 3GB RAM. The smartphone has 16-megapixel rear camera and 8-megapixel front camera.
Asus ZenFone 3S Max (Rs 2,000)
Another smartphone which has received a price cut is Asus ZenFone 3S Max. The smartphone which was launched at Rs 14,999 is now available at Rs 12,999, post the GST price cut.
The smartphone boasts of a 5.2-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display with 2.5D curved glass. It runs on 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6750 SoC with 3GB RAM.
Panasonic P88 (Rs 800)
Panasonic P88 has reportedly received a price cut of Rs 800. Launched late last year, the smartphone will now be available at Rs 8,490. The phone sports a 5.3-inch touchscreen display with 720 pixels x 1280 pixels resolution. It runs on 1.25GHz quad-core processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card.

Panasonic Eluga I3 Mega too has reportedly received a price cut of Rs 1,000. The smartphone that launched in May this year is now said to be available at Rs 9,990. The smartphone’s key highlight is its 4000mAh battery. Other than this, it has a 5.5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS display and runs on 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MTK6735 processor coupled with 3GB RAM.
